This was my 2nd ever Dead show (1st was 10-16)-nearly flawless!! This is why I followed these fuckers to hell and back--listen to this shit!! This is why we wanted to go to EVERY show--you never knew when one of these would happen. Tonight the boys were absolutely the best rock band in the world. Cheers!

Subject: California Earthquake
Wow! What a show this was. IMO this whole show rocks. Bobby goes nuts during Memphis Blues which I was never crazy about, but this version is insane. The main thing I wanted to write about though is that something had to be said about California Earthquake. It was just a couple of days after the 89 quake in Frisco. As Jerry sang you could see by the end of the show that there was not a dry eye in the place. The emotion he bought out in himself & everyone else was amazing. Still get tears in my eyes when I listen to it. DIdn't even know it was a cover until months later. Thought it was somehow a song written spur of the moment. Is it any wonder why we love this band so much?

Subject: good show
I was at this show and it was a good one. this is, however, not a good recording. way too many bobbles and hisses.
